stim
Wake it with a tap. Layer light, sound, and motion into something alive.
Tap the thing. The number goes up. Buy something that makes the number go up faster. You know precisely how this works, and that is the joke.
more about stim
Stim is an idle clicker that is honest about being one. It runs the same escalating upgrade tree those games run, with each purchase unlocking the next, and it names the machinery out loud instead of hiding it: limited time, surprise mechanics, you deserve this.
The upgrades sort into taps, visuals, audio, systems and meta, and later ones need earlier ones, so the tree opens up rather than sprawling. Power-ups drift past to be caught. A pet wants feeding.
It is satire that still works as the thing it satirises, which is the only kind worth building. The combo pitch climbs as you go, the numbers get pleasantly absurd, and none of it costs anything.
Milestones pay Drops into the wider playground, so time in here is not sealed off from the rest of dopa. Drops spend in the studio on a Bead avatar, themes and sound kits, and are worth nothing outside it.
There is no real currency anywhere in it and nothing to buy with real money. It runs in the browser with nothing to download.
