Three toys are members-only right now: tide pool, kinetic chime and the loom, and a membership covers the ones built after them. The premium themes repaint the whole playground, the premium Bead parts open in the studio, and the sound kits restrike every tap, pop and chime in a different voice, synthesized live rather than swapped for another clip.
Two smaller things come with it. Lucky scratch pays on thirteen cards a day instead of seven, and the studio’s daily discounted pick becomes two, one for everyone and a second for members. Drops cannot be bought with money by anyone, member or not, so what a membership changes is what is open to you rather than how a toy behaves.
Everything else stays free. The rest of the playground plays without a membership, guest progress works without an account, and an account costs nothing on its own. dopa+ is what pays for a small team to keep building, which is the honest reason it exists.
Billing is in Canadian dollars, monthly at CA$3.99 or yearly at CA$35.99, which works out to three months free on the year. It renews until you cancel, and annual members get an email at least 30 days before each renewal, so a yearly charge never arrives unannounced. Cancelling takes a few clicks from your account, with no retention queue and no fee, and access carries on to the end of the period you have already paid for.
