squishy
Squeeze the gel. Watch it ooze back.
Press it and it gives, spreading under your finger and bulging out the sides. Let go and it comes back, overshooting slightly before it settles, the way a real one does.
more about squishy
This is a soft body simulation rather than a squash animation, so the shape you get depends on where you push and how hard. Press a corner and it deforms around the corner. Press the middle and it flattens.
There are three to choose from: a cube, a heart, and a dohnut. Each one deforms differently because each one has a different amount of material to move, so the heart squashes and the dohnut folds around its hole.
Every squish earns a Drop. Drops are the playground’s own currency and spend in the studio on a Bead avatar, themes and sound kits, and they buy nothing outside dopa.
That is the whole toy. There is no counter to fill and nothing that ends, which is the point of a squishy. It runs in the browser with nothing to download, and once the page has loaded it works offline.
It is a good one for a phone, where the whole thing fits under a thumb and you can press it without looking at it properly.
questions
How do I squish it?
Press and drag anywhere on the squishy. It deforms under your touch and slowly rebounds, just like a real gel squishy.
Why are squishies so relaxing?
Slow, springy, tactile resistance gives your hands something soothing to do. A gentle, repeatable hit of calm.
